'The Dino'
Aerodynamic movements interact with mechanical forces and contours of the limited edition ’Dino Ferrari’. Stripes of the road, the signature cavalieri [Ferrari] horse, raceway flag, and other elements of movement are part of this dynamic expression.

2014-2015
Aerodynamic movements and countering forces of highly advanced engineering and machinery are conveyed in a highly technical, abstract expression. While some of the influences of futurism and cubism can be seen, the ‘supreme abstraction’ platform in which the artist operates connects the [often layered] movements in a continuous flowing form. Connected to the movements of the car, its natural and environmental forces is a highly abstracted Ferrari horse in motion at the bottom right corner. Top right, there are three layers of movements, as circles diffuse out amidst two other aerodynamic movements. The yellow stripes in the road lift off in motion and fade into the soft yellow DINO logo on the hood.
The Dino conveys all surrounding energies and elements of physics and as they interact with the engineered force and highly aesthetic, vintage form and contour of the rare, limited edition model, Dino Ferrari (246 GTS model).
FERRARI Historical note:
The history of this model has an intimate yet tragic sentiment story to it:
Alfredo “Dino” Ferrari died from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy 60 years ago. Alfredo Ferrari (1932-1956) was an Italian automotive engineer and the first son of automaker Enzo Ferrari. Alfredo was nicknamed Dino. He had Duchenne muscular dystrophy and died at the age of 24.
Named to honour Ferrari founder Enzo Ferrari's son and heir Dino Ferrari, the Dino models are a rare edition and coveted by car aficionados.](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/7a741f_cdef56f43af243c29f0a820a34334a53~mv2.jpg/v1/fill/w_188,h_188,q_90/7a741f_cdef56f43af243c29f0a820a34334a53~mv2.jpg)
